Heritage built on specification
Epoxy Flooring Ghana was founded in 1981 in Tema’s heavy industrial belt — the dock-side corridor where Ghana’s pharmaceutical, food production, and logistics infrastructure quietly took shape over four decades. We have laid floors for the country’s first FDA-compliant pharmaceutical manufacturing lines, its Tier-1 free-zone logistics warehouses, and the corporate showroom interiors of Accra’s Airport City. Our work is not a coat of paint. It is a load-bearing system specified to perform without compromise for the working life of the facility above it.
Two cities, one specification grade
From day one we have operated out of two anchored locations — our Accra office in Kokomlemle, where specification, design, and client engagement run; and our Tema industrial yard at Plot 15 in the Heavy Industrial Area, where the materials, applicator teams, and project-office discipline live. Between them sits the Accra–Tema industrial corridor: the trucks, the port, and the factories that depend on floors that cannot fail mid-shift. We extend our reach into Kumasi for institutional and commercial commissions, and into Takoradi for industrial port-adjacent work.
What we specialise in
Industrial-grade epoxy floor coatings. Self-levelling and substrate-engineered systems for FF/FL flatness-critical floors. Hygienic epoxy systems for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical environments — FDA-compliant, antimicrobial, and chemical-resistant. Anti-slip wet-zone coatings for warehouse washdown, healthcare, and food production. Static-dissipative (ESD) systems for electronics manufacturing and pharmaceutical cleanrooms certified to IEC 61340-5-1. Decorative metallic and polished overlay systems for premium corporate showrooms and institutional lobbies. Concrete repair and substrate preparation engineered to ICRI CSP profile. Polyurethane topcoat systems for warehouses, logistics centres, and high-traffic commercial floors.
Who we work for
Pharmaceutical manufacturers in Tema. Multinational food production plants. Tier-1 free-zone logistics operators and cold-chain warehouses. Financial-institution data centres and technical equipment floors. Hospital surgical suites in Accra. Corporate institutional showrooms in Airport City. Aviation hangars and MRO facilities. Electronics and ESD-cleanroom commissions. Food-processing and commercial-kitchen environments across the southern industrial belt. The institutional clients who must commission a floor specification in writing, hand it to a specialist, and trust the work will pass — every time.
The Project Office method
One name on our Project Office roster owns each Epoxy Flooring Ghana job outright, from the first free site survey through the warranty period. Specification documentation is written. Substrate moisture is verified to ASTM F2170. Profile preparation is documented to ICRI standard. Topcoat application is logged. Handover is a written event, not a phone call. This is the method that distinguishes specification-grade industrial flooring from commercial-grade application. It is the reason facility managers come back across plant expansions, second sites, and twenty-year renewals.
The forty-year arc
Since 1981, our trade has changed in every dimension except one: the standard. The materials are different. The chemistry is more demanding. The compliance regime — FDA, GMP, IEC, ISO — has tightened in step with every Tier-1 client’s commissioning requirements. The one thing that has not moved is our signature: a floor engineered to perform, applied by a single named specialist, closed out in writing, and holding up long after the tenants above have changed twice over. That is the institution we have built. And it is the work we continue.
